Food. We eat it everyday, from our birth on, in one form or another. Our taste changes gradually over the years and it is influenced by thousands of different factors. I am sure we all have that one food we canâ€™t even look at, because of over-eating or having a bad experience with it as a child. That is exactly why chocolate milk is forever ruined for me. I used to like it. But then one day, just this once , I happily slurped a big portion of chocolate milk out of a tetra pack (sneakily hiding its content) in anticipation of a cold, sweet creamy drink. What I got instead was a full mouth of sour, chunky milk and a look of disgust on my face! That was it! Chocolate milk and me were finished forever.
My appreciation for food skyrocketed in my late teens. Discovering pungent cheeses, salty black olives and raw fish was just the beginning. This appreciation was taken to a whole new level when I started cooking myself (you can read more about this in About Me section). My love for food kept on growing and brought me here, writing love songs to food and framing its portraits.
